Perry County Land & Cattle began as a 76 acre farm in 1990. Originally stocked with Highland cattle, the land was carefully managed to create a beef cattle operation. As the years passed and more land became available, the farm has grown to over 400 acres. Although some Highlands can still be seen in the pastures, the predominant breeds are Black and Red Angus cattle.
Through rotational grazing and an effort to find the best genetics, Perry County Land & Cattle has developed a high quality herd of grass based animals. In addition, a plethora of native grasses now grace the gently rolling hills of the farmland providing a diet high in protein for the cattle from the green grass in the summer months to the grass haylage produced on the farm in the winter months.
Our Cattle are 100% grass fed finished. We sell our finished animals primarily on the wholesale market. From time to time we have beef available for retail sales. If you are interested in purchasing our beef, please contact us and we will gladly add your name to our mailing list.
